This unit provides students with an opportunity to develop their knowledge of the practice of forensic science with particular reference to trace evidence analysis. The forensic process, will be examined in detail through a study of the principles and applications of trace evidence analysis including sampling of evidential material and interpretation of trace evidence. Issues concerning quality management and implications for the practice of forensic science in an international context will also be addressed. -- Course Website
